TranslationRound-and-Blue would like its proposal for Peace ‘22 Minutes past the hour’ to be translated in as many languages as possible. Any translation must be done on a voluntary basis and starting from the original text in French or from its translation in English. Whatever the calligraphy, in all languages, the word SUNIS should not be translated and its complete English lettering should be respected and integrated into the translation (See Mandarin, Arabic, Spanish and Russian). The translation should however provide a clear explanation of its meaning. At the end of the text, the name of the translator could be indicated, in her or his language, preceded by: Translated by… In order to enter a given language on our opening page, the "keywords" at the bottom of the document should be translated as well. Some technical detailsPlease do not use any formatting other than what's used in the document (headings, bold, italic, underline). This will help us to move the translation to our web site. Also, please use UNICODE encoding, which is available on Windows XP and Mac OSX. That is, do not use any language specific fonts but rather use the standard UNICODE font Times New Roman, which is already used in the original document. Note: Due to the calligraphic variety, the list of languages available cannot be presented by alphabetical order. As a result, the chronological order will be used for any new entry. In other words, the sooner we receive a translated text, the sooner it appears in the language list. Click here to download the original English text. Please send your translation in a Microsoft Word document to: webmaster@Round-and-Blue.net Heartfelt thanks to all Hopespreaders... |
